Statement

My paintings frequently are colorful abstractions in acrylic on canvas. Bright contrasting colors and textures are signatures of my work. Born and raised in India, my inspiration comes from festive colors and patterns that were a part of my upbringing. Trained in mathematics and art, I start my paintings with a precise idea and unique perspective. The artwork itself guides me towards its eventual completion.
